We maintain cuisine diversity by limiting each cultural food style to one vendor. This ensures variety for customers while reducing direct competition for food entrepreneurs.

- Market Vending License – Mandatory for all market vendors
- Food Handler’s Certificate – Required for food vendors

License Requirements
To qualify for a Market Vending License, applicants must:
- Have the business as their main source of income
- Hold Dutch nationality OR have resided legally in Sint Maarten for 10+ years
- Be registered as a Sint Maarten resident for at least 2 years
Required Documents
- Completed application form
- Valid passport copy (colored)
- Census registration form (not older than 6 months)
- Two colored passport photos
- Food handler’s certificate (if applicable)
- Tax return from previous year
- Valid police record (not older than 6 months)
Application Process
- Submit Application: Complete The Keys Market vendor application form
- Obtain Licenses: Secure all required permits and certificates
- Review Process: Applications reviewed by our selection committee
- Interview: Present your business concept and products
Contract: Sign vendor agreement and begin operations
Vendor Policies
- All vendors must participate in waste management and recycling programs
- Food vendors must specify cuisine type to ensure diversity
- Generic beverages sold exclusively through market bar/lounge
- Vendors responsible for removing all items and waste daily
